At Mulkan Seeds, agriculture is more than a businessтАФitтАЩs a deep commitment to the very roots of India. Our journey began over seven years ago, grounded in the heart of Deola taluka, Nashik district, Maharashtra. We observed firsthand the critical challenges faced by our farming community: a persistent shortage of reliable, high-quality onion seeds and the prevalence of substandard alternatives. This often led to significant economic losses for farmers, particularly those dependent on onion as a crucial cash crop.
It was this profound understanding that inspired the establishment of Mulkan Seeds. We set out with a singular, resolute vision: to transform farming by providing consistently high-quality, certified seeds at fair and reasonable rates. We recognized that true farmer prosperity, “The Rural Farmers’ Bread and Butter,” begins with the integrity and performance of the seed they sow.

Humble Beginnings
Mulkan Seeds started as a small agricultural initiative in rural Maharashtra, driven by a mission to provide high-quality seeds to local farmers at affordable prices.
First Farmer Network Built
We forged crucial partnerships with over 100 local farmers, supplying them with meticulously tested coriander and onion seeds. The resounding success of these initial harvests laid a strong foundation for our future growth.
Collaborating for Quality processing
To ensure purity and meticulous control over seed quality, Mulkan Seeds formalized its collaborations with specialized seed processing and testing units, integrating scientific methods and advanced technology into our operational workflow.
Expansion Across Maharashtra
Our seed varieties gained popularity, and distribution expanded to 10+ districts, covering Vidarbha, Marathwada, and Western Maharashtra regions.

These collaborations are crucial for obtaining high-quality breeder seeds and developing high-yielding, disease-resistant varieties of Onion, Coriander, Methi, Palak, and Soybean, ensuring that farmers receive the best genetics available, validated by scientific rigor.
Our Seed-to-Success Process
Uncompromising 10 Steps Quality Process
The Company selects high and standard qualities of onion. In the presence of companies technical persons.
Before bulbs sowing they are treated with Carbendenzim / Hamla/ Growth promoters for purpose of disinfectant in the presence of company representative.
Mostly bulbs are sowing on Drip system and Broad Bed Furrow.
Company technical person visits a plot once in a week and gives guidance to the farmers about spraying and fertigation application before any insects and pests attack also conduct the farmers training programme related to the development of seeds plot in field demonstration.
When plots are ready to harvest labours are working under the observation of companyтАЩs technical team.
After harvesting the most important part is seeds drying. If the seeds are not properly dried which creates major problems at the time of germination.
This is very important process for removing all dirt and inert matter. If this process is not properly maintain they are affected to our quality. Then thresherтАЩs seeds are sent to our Central godown under observation of our technical team.
After maintains all these process farmer wise samples lot number are sent to STL, Pune and NHRDF, New Delhi for testing. According to the report, payment is made to the farmers only if the result is good as per norms.
After threshing the seeds they are safely goes on processing without any contamination and properly handling under the company employee observation.
At the time of quality seeds in attractive packing we are providing Trichoderma, Pseudomonas and Bacillus for the seed treatments.
